What we collect

We collect contact details, service requests, appointment information, service history, invoices, and device details you intentionally provide or authorize us to record. Diagnostic tools use an allowlist of technical checks and are designed to leave credentials, browser history, personal file contents, and saved sign-ins out of scope.

How we use it

We use information to schedule and perform service, prepare reports and quotes, maintain client accounts, provide support plans, prevent abuse, and meet legal or accounting obligations. We do not sell personal information.

AI-assisted diagnostics

When you expressly approve a diagnostic session, technical findings may be encrypted and sent through our private relay for AI-assisted analysis. Identifiers are removed before analysis where practical. AI output is advisory: it cannot automatically run repair commands, and a technician must approve every change.

Storage and access

Client portal data is access-controlled by account and encrypted in transit. Raw encrypted diagnostics are retained only as long as needed for the service and troubleshooting workflow. Vendors used for hosting, authentication, payment, or communications receive only the data needed to provide those services.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of eligible data, or withdraw diagnostic consent, by emailing info@yourtechgenie.com. Some records may be retained where required for security, tax, warranty, or legal reasons.
