Pickup by appointment

Computer Pickup & Delivery in Los Angeles

Some transfers and assessments need more time than a visit allows. Ask about pickup for the approved work. We confirm your location, the equipment to collect, the price and return arrangements before scheduling.

Mobile visits and scheduled pickup · Scope and price agreed before work

Your storage

Drives and cloud accounts stay customer-owned.

Your approval

Review scope, costs and access before work begins.

After the work

Written findings and the next steps agreed with you.

Before collection

Tell us your ZIP code, device type, symptoms and deadline. We determine whether on-site help, pickup or direct specialist referral is appropriate. Pickup is by appointment and availability; Tech Genie operates a mobile service rather than a walk-in repair counter.

Record what is being collected

Check the receipt for the device model, serial number, accessories and existing damage. The agreement lists the work, approved fees, spending limit, update deadline and return arrangements. Keep your copy. Signing for pickup does not authorize wiping, recycling, a lab handoff or extra spending.

While work is in progress

We keep you informed at the agreed update time. Longer imaging or transfers may take additional time depending on device health and data size. If the scope changes, you receive the revised proposal before additional work proceeds.

When your equipment is returned

Compare the returned device and accessories with your receipt. We explain the completed work, any missing or unreadable files and remaining steps, and provide an itemized invoice. Your original equipment is returned even if recovery was unsuccessful.

Before you book

Can I drop it off at your shop?

Tech Genie currently arranges mobile visits and scheduled pickups. Contact us to agree a handoff; there is no public walk-in storefront.

Is pickup free?

Any pickup and delivery charge is quoted before you confirm. Availability and cost depend on your location and the agreed work.

Should I give you my password?

Do not put passwords or recovery keys in the request or agreement. We arrange customer-controlled access if the approved work needs it.
