- Confirm TV size, weight, VESA pattern, mount compatibility, wall type, stud location, viewing height, and nearby power before drilling.
- Install and level an approved fixed, tilting, or full-motion mount when the wall and hardware are suitable.
- Reconnect accessible HDMI devices, streaming players, and a soundbar, then test the basic input and remote workflow.
- Plan a neat visible cable route or quote a separate low-voltage concealment option when the site allows it.
Scope that needs separate approval or a specialist
- Electrical outlets, recessed power kits, line-voltage wiring, and electrical-code work require a qualified electrical professional.
- Brick, concrete, stone, tile, fireplaces, metal studs, damaged walls, uncertain framing, and high or difficult locations require review before acceptance.
- The TV, mount, fasteners, and wall must be compatible. Unsafe customer-supplied hardware is not installed.
- Furniture moving, wall repair, painting, structural reinforcement, concealed line-voltage cables, and disposal are not included unless written into the quote.

Fireplace heat, surface material, framing, viewing height, cable access, and the mount all need review first. Some fireplace locations are not suitable or require a specialty installer.
Can cables be hidden inside the wall?
Low-voltage concealment may be quoted when the wall and route are suitable. Standard power cords cannot simply be placed inside a wall. New or relocated electrical power requires a qualified electrical professional.
Do I need to buy the mount first?
You can supply a compatible mount or ask Tech Genie for a recommendation before the visit. The mount must support the TV size, weight, VESA pattern, wall type, and motion you want.
Can you set up the soundbar and streaming apps too?
Yes. Soundbar placement, HDMI or optical connection, streaming-device setup, input checks, remote pairing, and Wi‑Fi troubleshooting can be included in the quote. Account credentials stay with you.
